In what perhaps may be the strangest technique in the world of digital cameras, Ricoh has introduced their GXR model with an interchangeable lens. Rather, the lens itself is not traditional like those on a Nikon or Canon, but is housed as a component which slides in and out of the main body. Each of these “units” are equipped with a light sensor, allowing the option of different megapixel capabilities for example. Projected shipping date is in December
